Nusring Degree Scholarship

Nature of Award:

The scholarship is awarded to students pursuing a degree in Nursing.

The scholarship is a four year award and renewable upon receipt of transcript of prior school year and must be postmarked by July 1st.

Criteria:

Principal place of residence - Hendricks County. If no longer living in Hendricks County applicant must have graduated from High School in Hendricks County.

Must be a full time student enrolled in an accredited College or University.

Must have a 2.5 or better Grade Point Average based on a 4.0 scale.

Requirements:

A 300-word essay of why you chose your field of study.

Current high school graduates must include a copy of your High School Transcript and a letter of acceptance from the College or University you will be attending. (If the letter of admissions is not available at this time, you MUST present a copy to the Voiture before a check will be presented to you.

Stipulation:

The monetary award will be given directly to you. If, for whatever reason you do not attend school the semester immediately following the award, you MUST refund the money to the Voiture prior to the start of that semester and must reapply to be considered for a future scholarship. This stipulation pertains to all four years the award may be given.
